But I have a list here of dozens of Halloween book ideas for all kinds of subniches... and I'm dying to share!
Traditionally, sellers and book creators wait for the Q4 'book flood' to see their sales spike... but Halloween is an enormous (and overlooked) opportunity to get a Q3 boost - even in the book category!
Halloween means different things to different audiences. For some people, it's a magical and even sacred holiday. For some, it's a time of remembrance. For others, horror movies and schlocky ickiness are a way of life And for many of us, especially here in North America, Halloween is simply an opportunity for fun family activities, great food and lot of socializing. And the great thing about Halloween is that many 'spooky' products remain popular all year, enjoying a second wind before Christmas!
Whatever your relationship with Halloween, you will find an opportunity in this class to create a wealth of simple, low content books that you can sell on Amazon KDP for Halloween and the rest of the year.
This is NOT a writing class. You may choose to include writing, prompts and so on in your books, but you do not need to be a writer to create books. We will cover a range of options but primarily, we are focusing on low content books that can be created in under an hour and easily adapted or 'reskinned' to make additional books.

You will need an Amazon KDP account to create books. It is free to set up and you can do so here: kdp.amazon.com
We will be making custom interiors in the class using Powerpoint or Keynote. We recommend you have access to one of these applications to get the full benefit from this class, however you can replicate the ideas using InDesign, Word, Canva or any other tool you prefer for making PDFs.
Disclaimer: We will not be dipping into gore or anything too disturbing, but Halloween by its nature involves supernatural elements and occasional mild horror references so come with an open mind.
